Different Health Plan Designs For Better Care and Treatment

If you are seeking one for you and your family, Intermountain Health Care (IHC) seems to be the right choice for your health plan. IHC health plan is a non-profit health care system that comes in high qualitycare but at inexpensive prices.

Intermountain Health Care - IHC health plans, has obtained several awards for its achievements in medical care, such as the top integrated health system in the nation for the fifth time, and “Most Wired” from the magazine of the American Hospital Association’s Hospitals & Health Networks. These achievements make Intermountain Health Care as one of the most reputable health systems. IHC offers several designs of health care and treatment system to improve its service and standards.
Here are some designs offered by IHC health plans whether for individuals and families, or for small and large businesses:

There are two designs of health system offered for individuals and families, they are:

1.   A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that is called HealthSave. This design is compatible with HSA or Health Savings Accounts as the higher deductible amounts and tax savings.
2.   A Standard HMO, this design is deductible and includes co-pay, additional benefits, and coinsurance options.

For the small and large businesses, Intermountain Health Care offers three designs of health care system, they are:

1.   An HMO with plans called Select Care, Select Value, and Select Med. To use this option you should use in-network providers except in emergency cases or traveling.
2.   A Plus Product with plans called Select Care Plus and Select Med Plus. This option is provided with POS that enables you to use facilities and providers outside the network but with a reduced benefit.

3.   A Premier Product with a plan called Select Choice Premier. This option enables you to have open access to the providers and facilities in the all state of Utah.  If you like you can also have an access to dental, prescription drug, HSA options, and chiropractic.
